A good book is more fun to read when you’ve got an innovative bookmark in between! Here are some tips and ideas to make creative and easy bookmarks by yourself.
1. Keep in mind to use a hard material, a cardboard or a stiff chart paper would do. You can also use the dividers you find in your notebooks. Using a stiff material would keep your bookmark from bending and it wont be ruined.
2. Use different shapes and sizes. Simple narrow bookmarks will get boring, therefore cut out your piece in different random shapes.
3. Attach ribbons! They double the beauty.
4. Use fancy pens and markers! Make your own designs and borders using fancy pens and markers to enhance the beauty.

5. Cut out useful pictures/quotes/cartoons etc from old magazines and use them on your bookmark. Make it as creative as you can!
6. When you run out of ideas, use your favorite celebrity or band’s pictures or quotes and make a bookmark out of it!
